Run your own Children's Tuition Business:

As a Kumon Franchisee your number one focus will be on developing your students and helping them reach their potential.

• You don’t need a background in education to run your own Children's Tutoring Franchise. Many Kumon Instructors have had careers in law, finance and business and have experienced the benefits of the Kumon programmes themselves through their own families
  
  
• This is a full-time business opportunity where you will build and run your own business while also helping children fulfil their potential
  
  
• You will become part of a network of Instructors that share best practice along with the satisfaction of making a difference to children in your local community
  
  
• You’ll have an Area Manager to offer advice and support in launching, running and marketing your Kumon Tutoring Centre. 
  
  
• There is a minimal start-up fee and Kumon offers generous subsidies to centres opening in specific venues or areas
  
  
• Delivering both face to face and online classes, you’ll help many families benefit from learning with their method

Franchisees will run all aspects of the business. They will ensure that prospective parents have a positive customer experience, responding to initial enquiries and booking in diagnostic assessments. Franchisees will also manage assistants and the running of your children's tuition business.

How much can you earn?

This is dependent on your ability to grow your business and on how scalable your venue is.

• You’ll set your own fees, typically in the region of £65 per subject, per month, which parents pay to you directly
• You’ll be aiming to have average subject numbers of 150-200 subjects in your centre
• You’ll pay Kumon a fixed cost royalty fee for each student/subject, so it’s easy to project your income
• The Kumon royalty fee covers the Kumon learning materials, your ongoing training and support and much more!
• You’ll benefit from generous rent and fit-out subsidies towards starting up in a dedicated venue

If you were running an established study centre with a student base of between 100-300 students, you could expect to earn from around £30,000pa to £100,000pa, after royalties and operating costs.

Training and Support:

After your one-day Orientation Meeting, you will be invited to meet with your local Regional Manager to discuss and put together your business plan and the vision for your study centre.

Before opening you will be trained in the Kumon Method of Learning (the maths and English programmes) over 11 days at Kumon’s flagship study centre.

After opening you will continue to take part in regular ongoing training alongside other Instructors to deepen your knowledge of the Kumon Method of Learning.

You will receive world-class training and support from the very start of your Kumon journey, including guidance from a dedicated Area Manager who will help you make sound business decisions.

The Investment: 

You could be the proud owner of your own Kumon Children's Tuition Franchise in as little as three to six months.

The initial franchise fee of just £3,000.

This is one of the lowest levels of investment required in the education franchise sector.
